Lifestyle Change: Day 67 of 70 – Technology Rocks or Not!
I’ve been hearing all about the iPhone4 mishaps. Yo! What’s up Steve Jobs? I guess Apple has been batting a thousand for so long maybe it was time for an antenna not to work. I hear that duct tape does the trick, but people all over the internet and especially twitter have being going bonkers cause the iphone4 isn’t performing like they expected. I don’t know guys, its just a phone??? Well, I recently installed an updated modem and router to my computer and office network and I’m in L-O-V-E. But I still think about my iPhone fam… So, here’s my breakthrough of the day:
I know a lot of us want to be the first one to get a product, on the first day that it comes out. But the problem with this is: a lot of the kinks haven’t been worked out yet. So in many cases, the first person to buy a new product is literally test driving the product. I know this sounds harsh, but it’s reality. There have been many cases of cars that are in their first model year to have more problems than subsequent years. This is simply the way that manufacturing happens. I think Apple is fantastic. I just told someone that Steve Jobs should run for President. But the fact is we want our technology perfect and it isn’t. Not always. But still life goes on. Hold on to you iPhone3 a little longer and let Apple breathe for a minute. It’ll all be okay.
What technology product far exceeded your expectations? What has totally bombed? Let me know.
