NYC : June 9th – Dinner & A Movie for They Call Me Dae

We received such overwhelming feedback at our first screening event in NYC in April that we decided to have another private screening in NYC. This time our event is being hosted by Big Ced, Founder of the Industry Co-Sign! Big Ced is well known in NYC so we’re looking forward to him hosting us at Negril Village.
Our goal is to get people talking about They Call Me Dae. This short film is the prequel to Retaliation. We’re working hard to bring Retaliation to the big screen. So, I hope you can join us to spread the word!!! Join us. This will also be a great networking event, so be sure to get it in!
Here are the details:
- No door cover charge, Doors open at 6pm!
- Cash Bar, Event is over at 11p!
- You can order dinner if you like.
- They Call Me Dae will be screening on 3 flat screens at 8p, 9p, and 10p.
- Many of our cast members will be on hand to discuss their acting process and what motivates them to remain in the business.

About the Author

Yasmin Shiraz is the President of Still Eye Rise Films, an independent production company which films educational and thought provoking documentaries that chronicle the lives, traumas and experiences of youth. Her first production, Can She Be Saved?, a documentary that examines violence among middle school girls, was an official selection of the 2009 Roxbury Film Festival and recently won a 2009 Indie Award of Merit from IndieFest.
