3 Reasons To Give Up Gluten
At the end of January, I was told by my doctor that I should  give up gluten. My body was feeling sluggish and I was simply not feeling 100%. I didn’t think that it would really make a difference, but I decided to try it anyway. In about 3 days, I immediately noticed a difference in my life. Here they are:

  1. My skin stopped itching.   Sometimes out of the blue, my skin would itch. I could never figure out why.  I would sometimes eat random things and get small bumps on my arm. Well, no more. I do not have any more itchiness in my skin.
  2. Stomach issues. Last year I started to get more upset stomachs after eating. I couldn’t explain it. It would happen with all different types of food. Well, no more. I have reduced my stomach issues by at least 95%.
  3. Reduced my taste for junk food. I used to be able to eat junk food like powdered donuts, or packaged cookies/pies, but since I’ve begun to be gluten-free my tastebuds have changed. I no longer enjoy the taste of junk food.

I have no PhD in healthy eating or being gluten free, I’m simply sharing with you something that I’ve recently experienced. My doctor told me that getting rid of gluten would change me and it did. I’m enjoying myself a whole lot more.

If your body isn’t working as well as it should, try to give up gluten for a week and see if it makes a difference. I wouldn’t be surprised if it did.
