Accused Selected to ITM Book Award List

In the Margins (ITM) is a committee under the umbrella of the Library Services for Youth in Custody group<http://youthlibraries.org/>. ITM strives to find the best books for teens living in poverty, on the streets, in custody – or a cycle of all three.  Our Charge: to seek out and highlight the best fiction and non-fiction titles (PreK through adult) of high-interest appeal to youth, ages 9-21, living in poverty, on the streets, or in custody, with a preference for marginalized books (small, independent press or self-published).  Youth feedback is a critical factor in both book nomination and selection.

I am very proud of Accused and all the other authors who were selected this year. Thank you to all the readers for pushing me to continue to write.

If you would like to host a bookclub meeting our author interview to discuss Accused or the Retaliation series, please let me know. If you’ve already read Accused or Retaliation, but have yet to put your review on Amazon or Goodreads, please do so. Reviews help to spread the word about the books.

Peace & Love,

Yasmin
