		<description>My film, Can She Be Saved?, really portrays teen girls sharing how they feel. I believe a lot of teens are dealing with issues that they haven&#039;t been able to talk about. I believe there is a certain level of frustration as well. If schools across the nation were able to restore many of the after school programs, I believe that a lot of the animosity amongst youth would be reduced.</description>

My first thought:  What is the root cause in each of these situations? Empowerment is a good start for a solution to the problem; but from early childhood what triggered this behavior? Is it environment, abuse, abandonment or a feeling thereof---what? They may be carrying out the same types of behavior; but their reasons are individualistic.</description>
