I owed the fans of Exclusive and Privacy this book!!! I’ve been years and years behind in writing this novel. But, I am proud to say that the book cover for Devious, the 3rd book in the Tisha Ariel Nikkole series is finally done!!! I’ve finally completed the manuscript and Devious will be in stores shortly. But, first, I wanted to share the new book cover. I hope you love it as much as I do.
I’ll be posting an excerpt as well in a couple of days.
HIP HOP NOVEL SERIES CONTINUES
For those who don’t know, Exclusive is based on my life as an hip hop journalist and entertainment journalist. After a positive response from Exclusive, I wrote the 2nd book in the series which is Privacy. Devious is the third book. The series follows journalist Tisha Ariel Nikkole and her boyfriend, Shout who is a successful rap artist. They deal with the ups and downs of working in the entertainment business and the treachery that always follows money, power and fame.
In late 2014, I edited Privacy to make it even better and now Devious is here to really kick it up another level. I can’t wait to receive your feedback.
Here’s the backcover blurb from Devious:
There is a sex trafficking ring and Shout is being implicated… Will Tisha be able to save the girls?
Striking out on her own. Tisha Ariel Nikkole starts a new career and leaves hip-hop culture, urban radio and the glamorous life behind. But, when her new job asks her to investigate Shout, she struggles with loyalty, love and lust.
Revenge is a cold dish. Lyle Ellis is on the hunt to find the woman who he saw kill his sister except he doesn’t know her name or where she lives. But, with the murder weapon and a penchant for blackmail, it’ll only be a matter of time.
On the run. When Juicy is saved by a handsome stranger, she refuses to tell him about her past and begins to build a life with him based on a lie. But, when the lies begin to unravel, she’s caught with her finger on the trigger.
Always my baby. Shout refuses to take no for an answer and desperately wants to win Tisha back. But will Tisha refuse him again? Will an allegiance to his father cost him his career?
Peace & Love,
