SUCCESS CHALLENGE WEEK #3

Welcome to this episode of Live Better with your host Yasmin Shiraz. We have made it to our third week of the 7 Week Success Challenge. Have you noticed any changes in your life? Has progress been happening? I want you to stop what you are doing right now and write down this email address: yshiraz@yasminshiraz.net. That is my address. I want to know if you are attracting what you want into your life. Remember we said during week one that we wanted to see if the Law of Attraction gurus were correct about attracting what you want in your life. Well, we are putting the work in right now to get what we want.

Let’s get into Week 3’s challenge. Here are your three questions:
Are you afraid of anything that is related to your goal?
Do you wish you had the courage to take a step that is related to your goal?
Do you tell yourself, “Oh, I can’t do that. That’s just not for me.”??

Well, if you answered yes to any of the above questions, then you are ready to kick fear in the pants this week. Yes, we are giving fear a straight up and down beat down. So, this is how we’re going to do it.

1. Do something that scares you that is related to your goal. Right now as I record this podcast, I’m in Los Angeles setting up meetings to get representation. It’s a scary thing. Writing a query letter to introduce yourself is scary because what if they say, “We DON’T WANT YOU. I’m afraid of rejection just like anybody else, BUT, I’m not going to allow it to stop me. No way. I’m going to send out my query emails and I’m going to envision a successful outcome. With your goal, what can you do this week that you are afraid of, but you really need to do in order to accomplish your goal? Well, that is part one of your assignment for this week.

2. The second part of your assignment for this week is to take two steps in your plan. Last week, I asked you to write 5 -10 steps that needed to be taken in order for you to achieve your goal. Well, now this week, I want you to take 2 steps. One of those steps will probably involve something that you are afraid of… Nonetheless, we gotta do it.
If you are afraid to take two steps and you have that person that believes in you, call them up and talk to them about your fears. Talk to them. Hopefully, they’ll be able to give you the encouragement you need to take those two steps.

This week’s assignments remind me of a quote that I heard of years ago, “The Journey Of A Thousand Miles,” begins with a single step. Take that step this week.
