My alter ego, Tisha Ariel Nikkole, went to the movies today in support of The Perfect Guy starring Sanaa Lathan, Michael Ealy and Morris Chestnut. It’s important to support great films and so I have a new video sharing the experience. If you get a chance this weekend, please check it out. The film reminded me of Fatal Attraction from back in the day, but it was so good. It was fresh and well acted. At the bottom of this post I’ve included the film’s synopsis. The video below includes the movie review. The review contains NO SPOILERS. I hope you enjoy it.
Movie Review: The Perfect Guy
With a fulfilling career and a loving relationship, lobbyist Leah Vaughn (Sanaa Lathan) seems to have it all. Things come crashing down when Dave, her long-term boyfriend, questions her future plans for marriage and a family. The resulting breakup leaves Leah heartbroken, until she meets the charming and handsome Carter Duncan (Michael Ealy). Soon, the budding romance turns dangerous as Carter reveals his volatile nature, forcing Leah to turn the tables on the man she thought was Mr. Right.
Tell me what you think? What movies are you looking forward to seeing this year? Have you seen the trailer for Will Smith’s new movie, Concussion? I’m looking forward to that movie. Also, I’m a James Bond fan. I’m looking forward to the new James Bond movie. I also think Idris Elba should be the next James Bond. We should start a petition.
Anyway, I hope you get a chance to go to the movies.
Peace & Love,
