A success tip too important to be forgotten is an oldie but goodie: Finish What You Start.

It’s funny in my first book, The Blueprint for My Girls, I shared a blueprint that was titled, “Finish What You Start.” And, yet here it is years later, I was juggling so many projects, I wasn’t finishing everything that I started. Funny how that happens. Sometimes you have to go back to the basics and remember the core principals that have brought you success.

Thanks to some major changes in my life, I’m making daily strides to finish the old projects so that I can clear the way for new projects. I feel that I’m being born again. I want to apologize to everyone that I disappointed in taking so long to get some of these old projects to the forefront. Charge it to my head, not to my heart. I have truly gone through a metamorphosis over the last 5 years.

Today I created a hand-made sign that I placed on my bulletin board with 4 simple words, “Finish What You Start.” It is my belief that finishing what you start will inevitably lead you to the new things that are meant for your life. But, if you’re not willing to finish what you’ve started, you’ll become stagnant. At least, that is what happened to me.

For the last six months, however, I’ve been in finishing mode. I’ve been going back to see what work has been left undone. I’ve been reviewing all the loose ends that I wanna tie up. The feeling is powerful because with every project that I complete I feel that I’m closer to the next, even bigger, more successful project.

Try to start finishing more projects and tell me how it makes you feel.

Peace & Love,
